Judit Camargo
Marking a historic milestone in the AEIC, Judit Camargo Sanromá, CEO and founder of Roka Furadada, becomes the first woman to assume the presidency of the association. Judit took office during the AEIC Breakfast for partner and guest companies, on March 3rd 2026, in Barcelona.
This appointment coincides with a stage of development for the AEIC and marks another step in the presence of women on the governing bodies of the association and the European Federation of Cosmetic Ingredients (EFfCI). Judit will also represent Spain internationally within the European federation.
An outstanding background
Judit has a long professional background in the corporate world, both in business and management areas, as well as in scientific-technical areas, with pharmaceutical companies and cosmetic ingredients, as founder and CEO of Roka Furadada.
In addition, Judit is doing her PhD at IMIM (Hospital del Mar Institute of Medical Research), and her research interests are in the field of influence of multiple exposures such as heavy metals, pesticides and other organic molecules in the etiology of pancreatic cancer.
Roka Furadada, a partner company of AEIC and EFfCI since 2021, is well aware of the strengths and virtues of the association. In addition, Judit actively participates in EFfCI working groups.
